This class will look at narrative drawings using pen and ink. The Grimm Brothers’ Fairy Tales, with their dark, scary stories, will be our starting point.
Arthur Rackhams Illustrations using ink and a watercolour wash are our inspiration for this class
Materials required
Watercolour Pper preferably 300gsm hot or cold pressed
FIn Liner ink Pen ideally 0,2 to 0,5 or indian in and nib pen
watercolour brush
Watercolour paints
Possibly a copy of the Grimm Brothers’ stories
As well as the class you will get access to the recorded session for 4 weeks if you wish to go over it again.
