Botanical Watercolour Triptych

Service Description

Spend a relaxing and creative day exploring the beauty of botanical watercolour as we create a gorgeous Mediterranean-inspired triptych of three coordinating paintings. Throughout the day, I’ll guide you step by step as we paint an olive branch laden with colourful olives, a delicate lavender sprig and a beautiful fig branch with its distinctive leaves and fruit. We’ll explore a variety of watercolour techniques along the way, from creating delicate leaves and fine stems to mixing natural greens, building layers of colour and capturing the wonderful shapes and tones of fruit and foliage. Each design will be painted on its own sheet of watercolour paper, creating a collection of three botanical paintings that work beautifully together as a set. With a maximum of just 8 people, this is a small and friendly workshop with plenty of individual guidance throughout the day. It is suitable for those with some watercolour experience as well as enthusiastic beginners who would like to develop their skills. All painting materials are provided, so you can simply come along and enjoy the day. Tea and coffee will be available throughout; please bring your own packed lunch.
