Capture the gentle character and flowing textures of this beautiful Highland cow in a relaxed, loose watercolour style. In this full-day workshop, Eunice will guide you step by step as you create a striking portrait full of light, movement and expressive brushwork. You'll discover how to simplify detail while still capturing the personality of your subject, using soft washes, carefully placed darks and crisp highlights to bring the shaggy coat to life. Along the way you'll learn: Creating luminous washes and soft colour transitions Building texture with expressive brushstrokes Painting convincing fur without every hair Mixing warm natural earth tones Bringing life to the eyes, nose and horns Knowing when to stop for a fresh, painterly finish This workshop is suitable for all abilities, from improving beginners to experienced painters looking to loosen their style. All materials are provided, so simply come along, relax and enjoy a wonderful day of painting in a friendly and supportive studio. You'll leave with a beautiful finished Highland cow painting ready to frame and the confidence to use these techniques in your own future artwork.

Cancellation Policy
Eunice @ Studio 5 reserves the right to cancel any group classes or courses which have 4 or less people booked on them. Cancellations will be made by email no less than 3 days before the class is due to start, and a full refund will be given, or the option to move your booking to another date. You may cancel your class up to 28 days before the class begins and request to receive a full refund or switch to an alternative class. Any deposits or class fees paid for a class will not be refunded if less than 27 days before the class start date.
