Service Description
Join me for a relaxed, in-person pastel workshop where we’ll create a beautiful bird study using soft pastels on dark paper. This session focuses on building form, colour, and atmosphere through confident layering and expressive pastel marks, allowing the texture of the paper to play an important role in the finished painting. You’ll be guided step by step through the process, from establishing the main shapes to developing feather textures and subtle details, without overworking the surface. We’ll explore colour choices, visible mark-making, and how to suggest detail while keeping the painting fresh and painterly. This workshop is suitable for all levels and offers a friendly, supportive environment with plenty of practical tips, demonstrations, and time to enjoy the process of working with pastels.

Cancellation Policy
Eunice @ Studio 5 reserves the right to cancel any group classes or courses which have 4 or less people booked on them. Cancellations will be made by email no less than 3 days before the class is due to start, and a full refund will be given, or the option to move your booking to another date. You may cancel your class up to 28 days before the class begins and request to receive a full refund or switch to an alternative class. Any deposits or class fees paid for a class will not be refunded if less than 27 days before the class start date.
